I’m using the Catholic Church here to represent large organized religions as a whole, most of which I view as corrupt. The power involved transforms their leaders into the symbols that the religion abhors: the predator, the murderer and the defiler. The original message that the belief once carried is distorted and destroyed, and the memory of it is used to control.

This was a bit of a pain to finish. The idea came up a couple of weeks ago when I was brainstorming some T-shirt ideas for Gothic Colour and did a few sketches to plan it out. I just got around to creating the finished drawing, but I omitted any kind of a background save a single line to tie the subjects together, so I may work on it a bit more.
wow. this ones got a powerful message and you did an amazing job on this. I agree about most organized religions being corrupt. This is such an awesome job on this!
Have a few issues with religion, do we? Haahaa! THis is great. I have the same problems with most organized religion. They follow a bunch of dead dogmas and enact pointless rituals. Being a ceremonial magician, I have a good idea of what it is like to tap into the Godhead and most churches will never get it. They care more about appearances and rules than Gnosis.
good thing you are incorrect. If you knew anything about the church you would know that the church has defended the same tradition for 2000 years. Some religions are corrupt. not mine. I diagnose you with major ignorance. perscription: a book
All Christianity is mythology with a flawed philosophy glorifying the weak and passive. It deserves nothing but contempt and it's eventual destruction, which is being delivered through an Armageddon of non-belief. I've read "the book" and I've also read up on the religions that Christianity stole from. If you did this you'd realize that Christianity is nothing but a mix of a Jewish cult (which Judaism itself is based on Sumerian mythology) and Pagan religions.
Don't level the accusation of ignorance at me, for I'm certain that I've covered just as much as you, but I doubt you've ventured much from your own circular line of thought and theological education. If you wish to continue to carry this further, do so through notes and not spamming my gallery.
well then i'm sure you know about the guadalupe tilma that has survived about 500 years past its experation date. or the miracle of fatima, you cant be skeptical when thousands of people watched the sun dance. Or how many saints like St.Germaine had their body preserved hundreds of years after death in a normal cascet.Or the stigmata of Padre Pio. Or any of the other thousands of miracles of the catholic church.Remember, your'e satanic, so you may beat protestants, but (no matter if you believe it or not) "the gates of hell will never prevail against you". One last thing. There is a saying about catholic philosophy:"The catholic church has not been tried and found unwanting, it has been found difficult and left untried". Not that you would know anything about self sacrifice, with your , instant gratification.
my diagnose stands, don't fight a battle you can't win!
