Satan represents wrath, the sixth deadly sin. Anger spurs us to take action and act appropriately towards those who are against us, but excessive anger blinds one to reason. We end up obsessing over violence and hurt even those who would help us.
This one was done differently than 1-5 due to it being my last project for drawing class. It is twice as big as most of the others and has multiple large nude subjects. The biggest problem ended up being the black background, which without the aid of a computer it had to be done with ink and brush. I think it ended up giving it a more messy, primal feel that added to the sense of violence. I’m quite pleased with the final drawing, but because of a bad scan (well, a bad scanner) and a bad stitch (I put it back together as best as I could…..) I’m quite displeased with the digital copy.
UNHOLY MACARONI! WOW! This came out great! I bet it looks even better in person! o-o; The inking really pulled this together. Really helped with the depth and the atmosphere! I love your Satanzorz! And dammit why hasn't anyone commented on your stuff??? WHY? It's....JUST NOT FAIR! OMG! *head explodes* Indeed, the human race is surely DOOMED! And...it'll look a lot like your picture when it finally happens. Nyahar! Except I imagined Satan wearing a party hat for some reason...but my brain is being operated by a hamster in a wheel right now. o-o;

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
